He'd been clinging to me at the pool for months. Two sessions in this and he paddled to the shallow-end steps on his own. I cried a little behind my sunnies.
Whole summer. Panels still firm.
Showed our swim teacher and she made an actual point of saying it's a better training aid than arm floats because it keeps them horizontal in the water instead of vertical. He moved up a class earlier than expected. Worth the cost on that basis alone, honestly.
She wore it daily for two weeks at the villa pool. Came home basically swimming.
Float panels basically invisible under the fabric. Goodbye puddle jumper.
Works as described and he loves it. Heads up the float padding traps heat, so on a 35-degree day he wanted out earlier than usual. Normal pool temps no issue.
Week at the in-laws over Christmas. Their pool has a deep end that absolutely terrifies me with a four year old running around. With this on she actually enjoyed the water and I could put a wine down. Two of the cousins ended up wanting one as well. We did still keep eyes on her the whole time but it took the edge off.
Bought two. Game changer at the pool not having to hold either of them. Float is generous but they can still kick properly.
Nephew's third birthday. Only swim aid he'll wear, apparently.
