No tantrum. That's the bar these days.
Toddler dressing is usually a war in our house. The last swimsuit had thin straps that dug into her shoulders and she'd scream the moment we tried to get her arms through it. We were ready to skip the pool altogether by midsummer. With this one she lifted her arms without being asked. Wide straps must be the difference. Whatever they're doing on that, keep doing it. Has held up across about a dozen wears now and looks the same as it arrived.
First lesson, instructor noticed. Solid little set.
Snug across the shoulders. Size up if she's tall.
We paid almost three times this much for a swimsuit from a boutique on King Street last summer. It's already fading and the elastic at the legs has gone slack. The Teeny Pandas one we picked up on a whim is holding up better after the same amount of pool exposure. Chlorine hasn't touched the colour. The boutique one is still in the drawer because I can't quite bring myself to bin it but she won't wear it. Bit annoyed at past me honestly.
Weekend at my parents' pool and she refused to take it off. Stitching solid. Print still bright after three washes.
First family beach day in years. Sent grandma a photo and got a teary phone call. The ruffles photograph really well, which I didn't expect.
Four straight beach days. Dried faster than her others between sessions.
Ruffles well stitched, true to size. One strap tag scratched the back of her neck the first wear but it softened after a wash.
